In order to ensure the safety of all passengers departing from the port of Ancona, starting from Saturday, July 3rd, till Monday 6th of September 2021 - will be activated a medical facility for the performance of rapid antigenic and molecular test COVID-19.

For this purpose, a dedicated area will be set up on the second floor of the Ancona Ferry Terminal in Via Einaudi.

Starting from the 12nd of June 2021, Minoan Lines will launch the new fast ferry connection Piraeus - Cyclades Islands - Heraklion operated with the ultra-modern HSF Santorini Palace catamaran.

This new ferry line will allow to reach in full speed and comfort the main islands of the Cyclades archipelago, undisputed destinations of European tourism in Greece.
The Cyclades line can be offered in combination with ferries to Greece from Italy, but it is also very convenient for passengers who fly to Greece from Athens and Heraklion airports and want to travel quickly to their favourite island.

The itinerary includes 3 weekly departures from Piraeus (Monday, Thursday and Saturday) and 3 from Heraklion (Tuesday, Friday, Sunday) to Syros, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Santorini. On Saturday departures from Piraeus and Sunday departures from Heraklion, the island of Tinos will also be visited.

Starting from March 1st, after a short transition period, the new timetable of Grimaldi Minoan Lines connections from Ancona to Greece will come into force, offering all year round daily departures to Igoumenitsa and 6 times a week to Patras for a total of 13 weekly departures!

To cover the new operations, 4 vessels will be used to replace - after more than 10 years of service - the Cruise Europa and the Cruise Olympia transferred to the Tyrrhenian Sea on the Livorno-Olbia line. This operation will allow a considerable increase in cargo both in terms of trucks and passengers carried.

The 2 ships Corfu and Florencia will be dedicated to the Ancona - Igoumenitsa line, leaving every day in the evening and arriving in Greece in the afternoon. Moreover, from 14/06 to 12/09 there will be 2 weekly calls to and from the port of Corfu.

Grimaldi Lines increases the ferry line to Sardinia Livorno - Olbia with the addition of the two flagships Cruise Europa and Cruise Sardegna.
The two "cruise" class sister ships were built in 2009 and 2010 respectively, have a length of 225 meters and can accommodate up to 3000 passengers, of which over 1200 in cabins. The services offered on board are similar to those of the most modern cruise ships.
